Valentin N. Pavlov met with the delegation of Beijing University – the participants of the first Russian-Chinese Congress on Treatment of Cardiovascular Diseases

On 14 June Valentin N. Pavlov, rector of the Bashkir State Medical University, corresponding member of RAS, Alexander A. Tsyglin, Vice-rector for Academic Affairs, Irina R. Rakhmatullina, Vice-rector for Research and Innovation Work, and Naufal Sh. Zagidullin, head of the International Relations Department, held the meeting with the delegation of Beijing University – the participants of the First Russian - Chinese Congress on Treatment of Cardiovascular Diseases.

Professor Lemin Zheng, Director of the Laboratory at the Institute of Cardiovascular Science, and Professor Wei Li, Deputy Director of the Vascular and Endovascular surgery of Beijing University represented Beijing University at the Congress.

Valentin N. Pavlov presented to the guests the presentation about the natural, economic and historical features of the Republic of Bashkortostan and conducted the excursion into the educational, scientific and educational life of BSMU, told about the equipment and possibilities of the medical process of the University Clinic.

- The key aspect of BSMU international relations are relations with Universities in China. We are actively cooperating with Harbin Medical University, Jilin University, Nanchang University, Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and we will be glad to build the same fruitful relationship with Beijing University, - said Valentin N. Pavlov.

With a return visit, the delegation of BSMU will visit Beijing University in July 2018, where it is planned to sign a cooperation agreement.
