In 2018, the acting Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan Radiy F. Khabirov approved the decree “On grants of the Republic of Bashkortostan to young scientists”. In accordance with this decree, the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Bashkortostan held the competition of scientific projects of young scientists for grants of the Republic of Bashkortostan. One of the 30 grantees was Rustamkhanov Rasul, assistant of the Oncology department with the courses of Oncology and Pathological Anatomy of IAPE at the Bashkir State Medical University.
According to the grant, the scientific and practical internship was planned in laboratories and University clinics of Munich in Germany. The University Clinic of the Technical University of Munich is the largest medical institution in Germany and the largest University Clinic in Europe. The Clinic includes the Institute of General Pathology and Pathological Anatomy. The Institute focuses on molecular and cellular biological studies of carcinogenesis. In Munich, along with University clinics and large research institutes, unique private practices and institutes operating according to the international standards, with unique technologies for personalized diagnosis and treatment of cancer, arise the scientific and practical interest.
The internship took place in Munich University Clinics, laboratories, private practices and institutes on the topic of personalized molecular and immunohistochemical diagnosis of tumors. Aspects of microscopic evaluation of immunohistological samples in the context of molecular biological analysis of tumors (ONCOBIOGRAM) were also studied. Clinical cases were discussed and experiences were exchanged. Rustamkhanov Rasul visited a number of lectures on related topics in Oncology, pathological anatomy.
