AIDS Conference 2019

"It is bad enough that people are dying of AIDS, but no one should die of ignorance."

For the sake of the same
BSMU Press Team in accordance with deans office for International students organised “Students AIDS Conference "dedicated to world AIDS Day 2019. The event was held on 3rd of December in the 3rd block of BSMU premises.

Students from different nationalities participated in the conference and discussed about different aspect of the disease.
The event started with the warm welcoming by our Dean Dr. Rasul salokovich.
Going on further the students both Russian and international showed various presentations centering the agenda of AIDS.
Students from different universities also took part in the conference showing their concern to acknowledge the society about the malady of AIDS.
Students from Kursk State Medical University interacted with us via video conferencing and conceded us with myth bursting facts about AIDS.
We invited our post graduating students who are doing research on AIDS to share with us their views.
We also invited many active volunteers who are often going to different states, so that they can help in spreading the awareness about AIDS and share their experiences on the same.
On 1st December clinic of BSMU also organised free blood checking campaign for the residents of UFA.
Summing up the conference at last one of our post graduating student summon us about the facts and statistics regarding the epidemic of AIDS worldwide.
The participants were later greeted for there priceless efforts and noble acts with the certificate of participation handed over by departmental HOD's and Vice Dean.
The conference eventually acted as a source of motivation for our students to work in the field of spreading awareness about AIDS and making this world a better place to live.
