International Friendship Festival "Greeting of the Spring" in the BSMU

On Saturday, April 1, the International Friendship Festival "Greeting of the Spring" was held at the university, organized by the International Students' Dean's Office.

Students from various countries such as Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Indonesia, Vietnam, India and African countries participated in the Festival.

In the beginning of the Fest, guests had a unique opportunity to taste the cuisine of nations from different parts of the globe, as well as were given a chance to see the national costumes of the countries.

After the exhibition, the guests were invited to the auditorium for the main performance. The Rector of the University, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor V. N. Pavlov welcomed the guests and students. He congratulated them and wished them all the best.

The concert was extremely lively and exciting. The students not only demonstrated their national songs and dances, but also surprised the guests with the modern genre.

At the completion of the dynamic showcase of performances the vice-rector for academic affairs A. A. Tsyglin presented all the participants of the event with certificates and gifts.

The special guests of the festival were the consul general of the Republic of Tajikistan in Ufa O. A. Shamsov and the Head of the First Department of Eye Hospital of the Harbin Medical University (China), Professor Jang Hong.
