BSMU and Ministry of Healthcare of the Chechen Republic sign the agreement on cooperation

On January 21, as part of the visit to the Republic of Bashkortostan, the delegation of the Chechen Republic headed by Elkhan Suleymanov, Minister of Healthcare, visited the Bashkir State Medical University. The delegation included Deputy Ministers of Healthcare and heads of major medical organizations in Chechnya. The meeting was held with the participation of Maxim Zabelin, Minister of Healthcare of the Republic of Bashkortostan, and representatives of the Ministry.

Valentin Pavlov, rector of BSMU, corresponding member of RAS, Vice-rectors and deans of the University faculties, met the delegation. Valentin Pavlov presented the strategy for the development of BSMU, told about the educational and scientific potential of the University, the development of the BSMU Clinic and the experience of international cooperation.

During the meeting, the cooperation agreement was signed between the Bashkir State Medical University and the Ministry of Healthcare of the Chechen Republic.

The delegation met with students from the Chechen Republic who are studying at BSMU. To date, BSMU has 26 students and 18 residents from the Chechen Republic, including 18 students and 2 residents under the target agreement.
