International students were inspired by piano concert in Bashkir state opera and ballet theatre

On Saturday, February 18, 2017, Bashkir State Medical University’s international students visited an unusual musical evening held at the Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theatre. The concert, entitled "His Majesty – the Piano", was devoted to the anniversary of Leo Frank and it was filled with such life-affirming and pleasant music by Franz Liszt, Sergei Rachmaninoff and Sergei Prokofiev.

The students were very much impressed by the variety of musical compositions. Many of them have visited such a show for the first time. However, some of them were able to recognize the works of great masters, as that music has appeared in a particular film or advertisement. The special impression was made by S. Rachmaninoff's "Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini".

The students expressed their desire to continue to attend such events.

We are so grateful to the Theatre of Opera and Ballet for this wonderful concert and to the Rector of Bashkir State Medical University for arranging such event for students.
