BSMU in Jiangxi University of TCM

In October 2017 students of the pharmaceutical faculty with the head of the pharmacognosy department Kudashkina N.V. and professor Khasanova S.R. visited the Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Nanchang, China. Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine is one of the leading universities in China.
Chinese colleagues showed us how university works and showed scientific research projects. The university has 5 educational buildings, the large medical library and the museum of modern medicines of Chinese medicine; 16 dormitories, a palace of culture, two stadiums, a hotel, a botanical garden, a large recreation area with a lake. We were so surprised by size and beautiful view of the campus. Students saw the collection site of medicinal plants in the campus. The students of the pharmaceutical faculty heard two lectures (on the basics of traditional Chinese medicine and on pharmacology). Our students participated in the opening of the sports days of university students and in the carnival of students. We visited the clinic of the university and the pharmacy department of this clinic. We visited the pharmaceutical factory which produces medicines. And we were acquainted with the research center. This center develops new products and has modern equipment.
The students met with the rector of the University Chen, prorector Jian and other teachers. Our students in the pharmaceutical faculty were very satisfied with the visit of the Jiangxi University of Chinese Traditional Medicine.
