A poetry competition for international students "The Voice of the Heart" was held at BSMU

 On February 16, the Department of Russian Language, Linguistics and International Communication, together with the Dean's Office for Work with Foreign Students, held a poetry contest "Voice of the Heart" for foreign students of the university within the walls of Bashkir State Medical University. During the event, the best examples of love lyrics of the golden and silver age of Russian literature, works by our contemporaries, songs in Russian, English, native languages of the participants, as well as the author's creations of our talented students were played. These were words about love as the greatest gift to humanity, about its cunning and variability, tenderness and truthfulness. Being the standard of romantic poetry, A.S. Pushkin's immortal poem "I loved you ..." was repeatedly pronounced from the stage and even sung.

The poetry competition, dedicated to the purest human feeling – love, was attended by foreign students of the Ufa State Petroleum Technical University as participants. The best readers who managed to win the hearts of a strict jury and a large audience of listeners were awarded with diplomas of the winners, and all speakers were awarded certificates of participants. The winners and prize-winners of the competition in various categories were:

1st place - Talebpur Aydogamesh Milad, Abdurahman Sharmanke Ahmed and Purwa Rajesh Charegaongkap;

2nd place - Patel Utsav, Albertica Pedro, Harmandeep Singh;

3rd place - Thanedar Samir, Vijayan Arya, Partap Singh and Nawabi Amirhossein.

The poetry evening will remain in the memory of the audience and participants for a long time and will remain a good tradition for the university.
