THE FIRST AID FESTIVAL «EMERGENCY-2024» WAS HELD AT BSMU

The Dean's Office for Work with Foreign Students organized the Emergency- 2024 First Aid Festival for 1st year students from among foreign citizens in order to familiarize themselves with the basics of first aid and fire rescue. The festival was attended as trainers by employees of the 22 fire and rescue squad under the leadership of Shamil Fazlyev, head of the guard of the 1st PSCH 22 PSO FPS GPS of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Bashkortostan, who taught the children how to use primary fire extinguishing means and use rescue equipment. In addition to foreign students, Ufa medical school students took part in the event.

In the festival program, members of the Surgical Club «Surge.Skills» demonstrated first aid skills – carrying out the victim, applying bandages, tourniquet or tourniquet and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

Associate Professor of the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care G.A. Biktimirova, anesthesiologist-intensive care physician of the BSMU Clinic N.A. Zdorik also acted as mentors for students.
