18 May the scientific and practical conference of the Volga Federal district "Topical Issues on Coloproctology", dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the Coloproctology service in the Republic of Bashkortoatsn, will be held

On 18 May, the Academy of Sciences of Bashkortostan will host the scientific and practical conference of the Volga Federal district "Topical Issues on Coloproctology", dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the Coloproctology service in Bashkortostan. The Association of surgeons of the Republic of Bashkortostan and Bashkir State Medical University are organizers of the conference.

The prominent surgeons and scientists from Russia and abroad will attend the conference:

Alois Furst, Professor, head of the Surgery department of St. Joseph hospital, Regensburg, Germany

Rachkowski G., Professor of Technological Institute, Karlsruhe, Germany

Hu Jiankun, Professor, Vice-Director of the Gastrointestinal Surgery department, Director of Stomach Cancer Institute in West China hospital of Sichuan University, China

Yang Kun, leading specialist of the Gastrointestinal Surgery department in West China hospital of Sichuan University (China), Vice President of the Youth Society of Laparoscopic Surgery of China

Yang Li, Professor at West China hospital, Sichuan University, China

Professor Alois Furst is already known to the medical community of Ufa due to his participation in conferences and joint operations: in November 2014 he conducted a joint operation of video endoscopic rectal resection with doctors of the Republican oncologic dispensary, participated in the XVI Congress of the Russian society of urologists, which took place on 20-22 October 2016 in Ufa, and conducted master classes at BSMU Clinic. Professors from China and Professor G. Rachkowski will come to Ufa for the first time.
