BSMU holds the seminar “The Use of modern science-metric indicators in research and evaluation of their effectiveness”

On 18 December at 3:00 pm, BSMU will hold the scientific seminar "The Use of modern science-metric indicators in research and evaluation of their effectiveness” in room 105 (BSMU building №10). Pavel Kasyanov, the Russian expert on science-metrics of Clarivate Analytics, will talk about the main science-metric indicators and methods of their calculation, the worldwide practice of their application and the experience of their implementation in Russia. The speaker will demonstrate the possibilities and subtleties of working with the InCites system on the example of the Bashkir State Medical University profile. The seminar will show in what ways these indicators should be used and what the main mistakes scientists, administrators and managers do while working with them.
