BSMU took part in the opening of the Year of the Volunteer in Bashkortostan

February 3, the concert dedicated to the opening of the Year of the Volunteer took place in the square in front of the Sports Palace in Ufa. Well-known musical groups and performers, public figures, athletes, attended the festival.

The mayor of Ufa Irek Yalalov and the speaker of the Bashkir Parliament Konstantin Tolkachev took part in the celebration. The organizers arranged the raffle-lottery with prizes and gifts for the guests, GTRK "Bashkortostan" informs.

On the Russian government decision, 2018 has been declared the Year of the Volunteer. Of course, BSMU could not stay away. The head of BSMU Volunteer Centre, associate Professor Alina Gizatullina, made presentations. Director of Bashkir State Medical University, corresponding member of RAS Valentin Pavlov visited the event along with students and faculty members of the university.

At the end of the event, the participants could take part in the lottery with prizes that would help young people in the training and production of their projects.
