Veronika Skvortsova, the Minister of Healthcare of the Russian Federation, took part in the first meeting of the Regional Healthcare Council

The Federation Council chaired by Valentina Matvienko held the first meeting of the Regional Healthcare Council that was devoted to the development of healthcare for children.

The participants of the meeting discussed key areas in the development of child health, including the implementation of the "Decade of childhood", as well as issues of medical provision and implementation of strategic projects in the field of health.

The Deputy Minister of Healthcare of the Russian Federation Tatyana Yakovleva and the chief freelance specialist of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Russian Federation on preventive medicine Sergey Boitsov attended the meeting, too.
