Prospects for the Volunteer Movement development were discussed in Ufa

On February 14, Bashkir State Medical University hosted Ufa Speaker’s Corner devoted to "The Practical Steps for Volunteer Movement Development in the Republic of Bashkortostan". The speakers of the Corner were the leaders of the region voluntary movement.

During the event, the participants discussed the problems and prospects of the volunteer movement development both in the Republic and in all around the country.

The organizers of the Speaker’s Corner were the League of Youth Policy, the Ministry of Youth Policy and Sports of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Republican Center of the Volunteer Movement and Youth Initiatives Support, Bashkir State Medical University and the Youth Public Chamber at the State Assembly of the Republic.

The expert of the platform was the Chairman of the Russian Volunteer Centers Association, member of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation, Artyom Metelev.

"I believe the dynamics, the support for the volunteer movement development, the attention paid by the President of the Russian Federation to the issues of volunteering, tell us about one thing – if there are problems, and they are talked about, including those within such platforms, they will be solved. And much of what was discussed today at the Speaker’s Corner, is currently being actively decided", - summed up Artyom Metelev.

Within the event Artyom Metelev met with the rector of BSMU Valentin Pavlov who supports the initiative of the participants of the Speaker’s Corner.
