In the second stage students competed in helping with BLS protocols: cardiopulmonary resuscitation, bleeding, moreover active arterial renewable, obstruction of the respiratory tract.

After the competition the "rescue" started, in the course of work students sometimes even forgot that it's just mannequin, and they fought for a successful completion to the end. Often, students even after the completion of the phases continued as if they could not cope in the allotted time.

The judges were strict, but, as usual, they are fair. Of course, the judges were operating anesthetists-resuscitators of different clinics, having considerable and clinical, and teaching experience. Special thanks to the dean's office - the head of the Central Clinical Hospital, Guzel Ayratovna Biktimirova, assistant of the Anesthesiology and Reanimatology department, RKB anesthesiologist-resuscitator, candidate of medical science, Alexander Vladimirovich Samorodov, and anesthesiologist-resuscitator of BSMU Clinic, postgraduate student of the Anesthesiology and Reanimatology department, Nikita Andreevich Zdorik.

At the end of the stage, the judges noted a very good level of preparation, huge enthusiasm, and they noted the most common mistakes that would be taken into account in further teaching. The unequivocal conclusion - students with such burning eyes, wishing to save the person and struggling for his life to the end, with all his strength - gives hope that everything will be fine.
