The Anniversary University Neurological Readings have finished

The 20th Anniversary University Neurological Readings at Prof. Leyla Akhmadeeva direction have successfully completed. American lecturers attended the readings: Dr. Cynthia Robinson (Seattle) and Professor Selina Le May-Klippe, Fulbright scholar (New York).

The students from Bashkir State Medical University, Bashkir State University and Institute of Physical Education, the staff from BSMU Clinic, state and private medical institutions and centers, students from China, who pass practice in BSMU, participated in the Readings.

In addition to participating in the University Neurological Readings, Dr. Cynthia Robinson, and Prof. Leyla Akhmadeeva gave lectures and master classes for the fourth-year students from the faculties of General Medicine and Pediatrics, graduate students, and residents. The professors spoke at a meeting of the student scientific club of the Neurology department on the problems of Neurology. They visited the Republican Physical Culture dispensary, where Dr. Cynthia Robinson got acquainted with its work and participated in a round table discussion with the staff after the invitation by the chief physician Envir Salakhov.

Dr. S. A. Robinson is Director of the Clinical Training at the Rehabilitation Medicine department (physical therapist) at Washington University, Seattle, USA, and is already a member of our interdisciplinary team at the University Center for Neurology, Rehabilitation Medicine and Botulinum Toxin Therapy. It is planned to invite Dr. Cynthia Robinson to teach and participate in the University events in spring of 2019.

Prof. Selina Le May-Klippe continues to work at BSMU with regular lectures and practical classes for students of the University and Medical College during the autumn semester.
