BSMU rector met with the delegation of Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Nyanchan (China)

On 16 October, Valentin Pavlov, rector of the Bashkir State Medical University, corresponding member of RAS, met with the delegation of Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The delegation was represented by Liu Ronghua, the Dean of the faculty of Pharmacy, Li Jiarong, assistant Dean, Ai Lihua, a member of the Dean's office of the faculty of Pharmacy and students who came to BSMU for the short-term practice from 12 to 20 October.

The meeting was attended by Valery Kataev, the Dean of the faculty of Pharmacy at BSMU, Prof. Naufal Zagidullin, head of international cooperation, Prof. Nataliya Kudashkina, head.of the Pharmacognosy department with the course of Botany and the Basics of Herbal Medicine, Prof. Svetlana Khasanova, the Pharmacognosy department with the course of Botany and the Basics of Herbal Medicine.

Ten University students from China from 12 to 20 October practice at BSMU, two of them practice during the semester. During the internship, students are trained at the Pharmacognosy department with the course of Botany and the Basics of Herbal Medicine, in the BSMU Simulation Center.

On October 18, students from China will take part in Science slam. It is a project to promote Science, and Ufa hosts it annually. This year BSMU will present a student from the faculty of Pharmacy, Peter Konenko. Last year the faculty of Pharmacy successfully represented the University at this competition. It should be mentioned that this year the project in Ufa will be visited by its founder from Germany Gregor Buening.

Two students of the faculty of Pharmacy of BSMU Svetlana Kovaleva and Gulnaz Mukhametzyanova are trained during the fall semester in 2018 at Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

The program for the semester exchanges in pharmacology between BSMU and Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine was signed in May 2018 according to the results of the Republican scientific and practical conference of otolaryngologists and hearing healthcare "Modern technologies in otorhinolaryngology and audiology" with the participation of professors from Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Nanchang (China) http://bashgmu.ru/en/news/13840/
