BSMU became the winner at Ufa International Salon of Education – 2018 “Education of the future” in the nomination “The Best Organization on Career Guidance”

From 7 until 10 November the capital of the Republic of Bashkortostan at the site of VDNH Expo Ufa hosted one of the major events in the field of education – Ufa International Salon of Education – 2018 "Education of the future".

As a result of the competition for the best exhibition participants among higher education institutions, the Bashkir State Medical University became the winner in the nomination "The Best Organization on Career Guidance among Higher Education Institutions" and received the diploma of II degree.

The Ufa International Education Salon is the first regional expert platform organized with the use of the technologies as at the Moscow International Education Salon. The main mission of the salon is to present all the main directions of the modern education system, new technologies and means of training, comprehensive information about the system of retraining, opportunities for additional and business education. The salon combines the exhibition and business program, interesting and useful to every resident of the region.

In total, 11 directions of the program were presented at the exhibition, where scientific and practical seminars, master classes, round tables were organized. The leading universities of the Republic of Bashkortostan demonstrated their potential and the latest methods in the field of education especially for the visitors of the exhibition.

The Bashkir State Medical University took part in the organization of the exhibition, which was opened by Alexander Tsyglin, Vice-rector for Academic Affairs, Irina Rakhmatullina, Vice-rector for Research and Innovation, Vladimir Ishmetov, Vice-rector for Educational and Social work, and Damir Valishin, dean of the faculty of General Medicine.

The Anesthesiology and Resuscitation department, BSMU Medical College, the Pedagogy and Psychology department and the Biology department showed significant activity responsible for the organization of interactive classes with students. In VDNH lounge area the participants prepared the stations – first aid, dressing, prosthodontics, career aptitude test, and a karyotype of the person. At each station, teachers, residents and students answered questions from students and taught them simple manipulations.
