BSMU students took part in the VI all-Russian Olympiad in Pediatrics with international participation in St. Petersburg

On 22-23 November 2018, St. Petersburg State Pediatric Medical University hosted the VI all-Russian Olympiad in Pediatrics with international participation. Forty-one teams from Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan competed in knowledge and practical skills. The team from the faculty of Pediatrics of the Bashkir State Medical University was represented by the 6th year students: Larisa Korneychuk, Alesya Husniyarova, Larisa Khayrullina, Vadim Matyukhin, Victoria Stackelberg. Team leader was Galina Arduvanova, PhD, associate Professor in the Outpatient and Emergency Pediatrics department with the course of IAPE.

After the opening ceremony of the Olympiad, the two-day competition program was held. The first day included the intellectual test "Own game", the test of practical skills "Emergency case" and testing. At the second stage, the teams solved problems and participated in the game "What?Where?When?".

According to the results of two-day tests, BSMU team took 12th place in the overall ranking.

The trip was remembered by students as a fascinating tour of the city, and it gave new knowledge and new friends!
