The International Olympiad on the Russian language as a Foreign Language started in BSMU

Today the Bashkir State Medical University starts the International Olympiad in the Russian language as a foreign language in the direction of the state program "Development of education" (sub-program "Development and dissemination of the Russian language as the basis of civil identity and the language of international dialogue").

This year BSMU International faculty and the Russian language course, taking into account the words of the President of the Russian Federation V. V. Putin, presented at the Congress of the Society of Russian literature on 26 May 2016, that the preservation of the Russian language is one of the issues of national security, attracted not only more than one hundred and fifty international students of our University, but also students of many universities in Russia and China. Thus, Ufa State Aviation Technical University, Volgograd State Socio-Pedagogical University, M. K. Ammosov North-Eastern Federal University (Yakutsk) and the Chinese universities: College of Foreign Studies Liaoning University, Harbin University, Heilongjiang East University, Kasiski University, Changchun Polytechnical University, South China Pedagogical University participate in the competition for the Russian language proficiency.

The students will write essays in Russian ("Russian language in my life", "The power of the word", "Russian as a reflection of the Russian soul" and other topics), write songs, fables, poems, make creative video presentations about the Russian language, solve puzzles, riddles, answer tricky questions and much more. We wish all the participants good luck, let this Olympiad not only actualizes the knowledge and skills in the Russian language, but also give you a lot of pleasant memories, new friends and open more doors for personal and professional growth.
