The Western Chinese Hospital, University Clinic of the BSMU partner, is recognized as the best among medical institutions in China

In 2018, the publishing house "Nature Publishing Group" has recognized the Western Chinese Hospital as №1 among medical institutions of China.

For Sichuan University, as for any educational institution engaged in research activities, publication activity indicators are of great importance. "Nature Publishing Global" is the rating of publication activity of scientific publications; it is one of such indicators. Among the publications of the Western Chinese Hospital for 2018, 43 articles are rated of the highest category with an Impact factor of more than 10. Achieving such results requires high intellectual and material costs, a lot of hard work.

“The Nature” journal annually presents an updated rating of the publication activity of scientific organizations — "Nature Index Global". The rating uses the Nature Index database and shows the contribution of the country and the scientific organization to the authorship of the article, as well as the degree of interaction between scientific organizations. Thus, the rating gives an idea of the contribution of the country or organization to the development of world science.

In recent years, cooperation between the Bashkir State Medical University and Sichuan University has reached a new, higher level. Nowadays, three BSMU graduate students are studying at Sichuan University at the Western Chinese hospital. They are Danil Galiullin, Valentin Kudryashov and Tagir Taipov.
