Dear professors and teachers, doctors and nurses of the Clinic and Dental Clinic, and the faculty of the Bashkir State Medical University!

Dear students, residents and graduate students!

2018 was a fruitful year for our University and laid the foundation for further successful development. This year was marked by a number of significant events: the opening of the first Robotic Center in the Volga Federal district at BSMU Clinic, the opening of the Dissertation Council, the victory of our volunteer projects at the federal level, successful cooperation with universities of Germany and China.

In the anniversary year for our Republic we will open the doors of a new educational building, which will bear the name of a great surgeon and teacher Imam-Gali Kadyrov, a new hostel is planned to introduce, and with the help of the above-ground transition from the 7th building the best student canteen will become more comfortable.

We have strengthened our position in the international arena. In 2018, cooperation agreements were concluded with Beijing University, Vienna Medical University, University of Barcelona, Samarkand Medical University and Jordan University. Cooperation with the universities of China and Germany continues successfully: the first PhD students received diplomas and began scientific and teaching work in their native University. For the first time the University has crossed the thousandth threshold of international students.

Ufa will again become the center of forums, conferences, competitions and gather the medical community from around the world.

We are awaited to work hard on the state accreditation of educational programs, licensing of new specialties in residency, postgraduate, bachelor and master degrees.

BSMU Clinic will start the implementation of new directions: chemotherapy and plastic surgery.

I am sure that all the reserves of the University, all the accumulated experience will be used with the greatest efficiency for the implementation of the tasks.

I sincerely wish you all good health, peace and love, fortitude and optimism, creative discoveries and new prospects! Let the New 2019 year bring warmth and prosperity to every family, let all dreams come true, and the fruits of your work bring happiness.
