BSMU team took the second team place in the Championship of Russia on ski-racing among medical and pharmaceutical universities of the country

The competition was held on 12 -13 February at the ski base "Lokomotiv" in Barnaul. The teams from medical universities of Ufa, Izhevsk, Tyumen, Omsk, Tomsk, Kemerovo attended it. It was the first time, when the teams of medical colleges became full participants of the championship along with medical universities. In addition, the sportsmen from classic, technical, agrarian universities of Altai region, as well as the team of foreign students, participated in the competition out of set. The total number of participants exceeded 100 people.

As a result, in the team competition Altai sportsmen took the first place with the result of 853 points. The athletes from the Bashkir State Medical University became the second (831 points), the third place was taken by Kemerovo - 775 points.

Winners of  the BSMU team:

Kamilla Bakhtiyarova (3^rd year student of the faculty of General Medicine) – I place in personal offset (3 km) and 3x3 km relay;

Sabina Gaysina (4^th year student of the faculty of Dentistry) – I place in the relay 3x3 km;

Elena Muslimova (1^st year student of the faculty of Dentistry) – I place in the relay 3x3 km;

Sergey Nikonorov (3^rd year student of the faculty of Dentistry) – III place in the relay 3x5 km;

Radmir Bagmanov (4^th year student of the faculty of General Medicine) – III place in the relay 3x5 km;

Vladislav Emelev (3^rd year student of the faculty of Preventive Medicine) – III place in the relay 3x5 km;

Ksenia Pozarica (2^nd year student of the faculty of General Medicine) – II place in the team standings.
