The first meeting was held on 28 February 2019. The report of Runiza Devyatkina, associate Professor of BSMU, "Digitalization of society and change of the paradigm of education" was heard, which considered the trends and possible consequences of the introduction of digital technologies for the education system and society as a whole. The speaker noted that the ongoing digitalization would significantly change the education system around the world, including Russia, translating it mainly into distance learning. The landscape of the labor market will change dramatically, the service sector will expand exponentially. The main risks of the future digital society were identified: the vulnerability of the parties due to the weak regulation of the regulatory framework of services based on digital technologies, the problem of protection of biometric and personal data of students and consumers, the growth of psychological disorders due to the replacement of traditional, "live" forms of communication.

Invited professors, associate professors, graduate students and students of higher educational institutions of Ufa took an active part in the discussion after the speaker's speech.
