BSMU delegation took part in International Conferences in Changchun, China

On 20-21 September, the delegation of BSMU consisted of Guzel Khasanova, doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor of the Infectious Diseases department with the Course of IAPE, and Shamil Bulatov, Director of BSMU Clinic, took part in the International Conference dedicated to the 80^th anniversary of Norman Bethune Health Science Center of Jilin University and the Medical faculty of Jilin University.

20 September Grand opening event at the stadium Xinmin Campusha was held. The party leaders, the head of Jilin province, academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, leading foreign experts in the field of Medical Sciences from the Netherlands, Canada, Korea and the United States spoke at the ceremony. The honorary titles "Bethune Scientist" and "Bethune Doctor" were awarded to scientists and practitioners of Jilin province. More than 1,000 people attended the event. Our delegation was among the guests of honor at the Presidium.

The scientific part of the Conference was held on 21 September. Professor Zhang Xi, doctor of Medical Sciences, rector of Jilin University, opened the event. Among the invited guests, there were representatives from more than 40 countries. Russia was represented by delegations from I. M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University, N. I. Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University, the Bashkir State Medical University, the Volga District Medical Center of the Federal Medico-biological Agency, the Volga Medical University.

BSMU became the only University from Russia, which presented a report at the Conference. Guzel Khasanova, doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor of the Infectious Diseases department with the Course of IAPE, presented the report "Clinical and immunological characteristics of hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome serotype Puumala". At the request of the host, the presentation was designed in the Chinese language.

On 22 September, the delegation of our University participated as honored guests at the "2019 International Conference on the Cooperation and Integration of Industry, Education, Research and Application" (Changchun, China), visited the exhibition of the Innovation Park of high-tech equipment "Lintian Yuanda". In the afternoon, after reviewing the laboratory building of Jilin University, our delegation met with Wang Fang, the first Vice-rector of Jilin University. A number of issues related to the further deepening of inter-University cooperation between Jilin University and Bashkir State Medical University were discussed, the topics of joint research and grants were discussed, and the agreement was reached on the expansion of scientific cooperation.
