Professor Li Fan, President of the Norman Bethune Scientific Center of Health of Jilin University, gave lectures in BSMU

According to the agreement on international cooperation between Bashkir State Medical University and Jilin University, our University was visited by Professor Li Fan, doctor of Medical Sciences, Dean of the Institute of Health of Jilin University, Chancellor of the Norman Bethune Center for Medical Sciences (Changchun, China). During her visit from October 12 to present, Professor Li Fan delivered a number of lectures to the students of the third and the fifth courses of the faculty of General Medicine, and the fifth course of the faculty of Pediatrics. Topics of lectures were the following: "Scientific cooperation and exchange of experience in the leading educational and medical institutions of China", "Medical education and medical Sciences in China", "Rules of training and professional development in China for the Russian students and postgraduates", "International grants in the field of Clinical Microbiology, opportunities for cooperation of Universities", "New technologies to combat antibiotic resistance". The Professor dwelled on such issues as exchange of students, need for cooperation, prospects of joint projects, possibilities of fundamental Sciences in terms of combating antibiotic resistance, and answered students' questions.

From 14 to 16 October 2019 Professor Li Fan held study cases for doctors of Infectious Diseases Clinical Hospital №4 of Ufa and BSMU Clinic on the fight against antibiotic resistance and modern methods of Clinical Microbiology. From 17 October Professor Li Fan will take part in the Eurasian Congress on Antimicrobial Therapy and Clinical Microbiology as an honorary guest and will make a plenary report.
