Lyubov Linnik, senior lecturer of the Psychology and Pedagogy department, took part in the International Congress “Pre-University stage of education in Russia and the world: language, adaptation, society, specialty” (Moscow)

In October, Moscow hosted the III International Congress of teachers and heads of preparatory faculties (departments) of Russian universities “Pre-University stage of education in Russia and the world: language, adaptation, society, specialty”. The Congress is organized by RUDN University and the A.S. Pushkin State Institute of Russian Language, International Association of Russian language and literature teachers and the Russian Society of Russian language and literature teachers.

The participants of the Congress discussed the theoretical and methodological foundations of modern linguodidactics, interethnic interaction in the academic environment, the organization of electronic and mixed learning, innovative technologies in education, the problem of adaptation of foreign students, etc., held study cases, round tables, scientific and practical seminars, and discussion platforms and demonstrated cases of universities were organized.

The Congress was attended by more than 500 representatives of universities from 17 countries, 59 cities of Russia.

The Congress was presented the experience of teaching Russian language for students of pre-University training of BSMU, presented by Lyubov A. Linnik in her report.  The report was devoted to the methods of teaching scientific style of speech and the Russian language as the language of their future profession at the stage of preparation of foreign citizens for the development of professional programs in the Russian language. The representative of our University took part in the scientific and practical seminars "E-learning-mixed learning-distance learning technologies", "Practice of recruitment of foreign applicants in Russian universities", "Language of specialty and scientific style at the stage of preparation of foreign citizens for the development of professional educational programs in Russian", in the round table "Innovative technologies in teaching practice RCT: model of blended learning at the initial stage. Implementation of the additional program "pre-preparatory department" with the use of electronic educational resources", in the IV all-Russian scientific and practical conference "Actual issues of implementation of educational programs at preparatory faculties for foreign citizens".

As a result of the Congress, a resolution was formed, which was sent to the Federation Council and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
