BSMU and Bashkir universities signed the Memorandum with the branch FSUC “SIC “Microgen” of MOH of Russia «Immunopreparat» in Ufa

On 20 December, FSUC “SIC “Microgen” and universities of the Republic of Bashkortostan signed the agreement in the format of Research and Educational center.

The signing ceremony was attended by Aybulat Khazhin, Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Evgeny Stavnichy, acting Director of the "Immunopreparat" enterprise, representatives of five Ufa universities: Ramil Bakhtizin, rector of the Ufa State Petroleum Technical University, Valentin Pavlov, rector of the Bashkir State Medical University, Salavat Sagitov, rector of M. Akmulla Bashkir State Pedagogical University, Nikolay Morozkin, rector of Bashkir State University, and Nail Yunusbayev, Vice-rector for Academic Affairs of Bashkir State Agrarian University.

- New year is always associated with pleasant expectations. One of them is the creation of a world-class Research and Educational center. The Research and Educational center of the Republic of Bashkortostan is created with the active support of the head of the Republic – Radiy Khabirov. Today we have taken a serious step towards a new format of interaction between industrial enterprises, the production sector and higher education institutions. I hope that this will become a new starting point in the development of our Research and Educational center, as well as technological leadership and breakthrough of the Republic in the future, exactly in the implementation of our REC", - said Aybulat Khazhin, Minister of Education and Science of Bashkortostan.

The agreement defines the joint activities of universities and the enterprise "Immunopreparat" in the field of Chemistry and Biotechnology. These two disciplines are ones of the main directions of the world class Research and Educational center, created in the Republic of Bashkortostan in the framework of the National project "Science" and in accordance with the decree of the President of Russia dated May 7, 2018. The document also provides for the creation of specialized basic and network departments of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Bashkortostan at the enterprise.

- Our cooperation with the company has a huge history, a large number of our graduates work in FSUC “SIC “Microgen”. We hope that our cooperation in the light of the implementation of the new challenges and tasks of the time, and the tasks set before us by the leadership of the Republic will contribute to the development of science and health in Bashkortostan. Our University has all the conditions for the implementation of these projects: first, it is the development of fundamental and translational science, and we are customers for products focused on human health, - said Valentin Pavlov, rector of BSMU, corresponding member of RAS.

In early 2020, it is planned to sign the agreement between the branch FSUC “SIC “Microgen” of MOH of Russia «Immunopreparat» in Ufa and higher education institutions of the city, which will determine the joint activities of Ufa universities and enterprises in the field of Chemistry and Biotechnology. The document will also provide for the creation of a profile basic department, accessible to universities equally. On the basis of this Department, University students will be able to undergo training with the possibility of further employment in the "Immunopreparat" enterprise.

- The signing of the Memorandum is the next stage of work that began last year. At the stages of implementation of educational programs will be the adaptation of young professionals to the conditions of production. This is very important for the enterprise, because in-house training can sometimes last up to six months. Our cooperation with universities helps to minimize these terms. The program will include work with innovative materials, technological and scientific equipment, which our enterprise possesses – said Evgeny Stavnichy, the acting Director of the "Immunopreparat" company.
