Leonid Roshal was awarded the title “Honorary doctor of Bashkir State Medical University”

On 11 January, Professor Leonid M. Roshal, President of the Research Institute of Emergency Children's Surgery and Traumatology, Director of the Research Institute of Emergency Children's Surgery and Traumatology, President of the National Medical Chamber, "Children's doctor of the world", visited Ufa. In the Bashkir State Medical University, Leonid M. Roshal took part in the extended meeting of the Board of the Medical Chamber of Bashkortostan.

Valentin N. Pavlov, rector of BSMU, corresponding member of RAS, opened the meeting.  Valentin N. Pavlov awarded the title "Honorary doctor of the Bashkir State Medical University" to Leonid M. Roshal for his contribution to the development of the Bashkir State Medical University and Medicine of Bashkortostan.

"It's not my first time in the Republic. Moscow has always been ahead, the regions have lagged behind, but I come and see no difference. The Republic is developing, Ufa has changed today, too. The University is growing, new buildings are being built, and new technologies are being introduced. And we are going to ensure that the population is fully satisfied with the healthcare system in the region, - said Leonid M. Roshal.

BSMU actively cooperates with the National Medical Chamber. Every year, the Chamber conducts primary accreditation of graduates.  This year, for the first time, specialized accreditation of residents and graduates was held after mastering professional retraining programs in six specialties: “Therapy", "Pediatrics", "Oncology", "Neurology", "Cardiology", and “General medical practice".

During his visit to Ufa, Leonid M. Roshal visited the Aksakov New-year tree, the annual charity event, established for children with disabilities by Karine Khabirova, the wife of the head of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
