Dr Azam Mohammed from Republic of India visited BSMU in the framework of the Winter Med School Program-2020

Bashkir State Medical University and the educational organization of supplementary education ARISE Medical Academy (Republic of India) launched the Winter Educational School "Preparation of international students to the examination of USMLE (USA) and FMGE (Republic of India)". The Winter Educational School has been organized according to the university program "Useful holidays" to improve the quality of students' learning, stimulate their interest in research and creative activities, systematize and deepen the knowledge in Medical Sciences. The Med school conducted from 3 to 8 January, 2020 in Subjects of Anatomy and Biochemistry.

Dr Azam Mohammed met with Valentin N. Pavlov, rector of BSMU, Alexander A. Tsyglin, Vice rector for Educational work, Irina R. Rakhmatullina, Vice rector for Scientific work, and Rasul S. Farshatov, Dean for International Students, to discuss important issues aimed to help students in academic, personal development and after graduation, new books which university can order to help students,different kinds of exchange programs for students and staff. Dr Azam Mohammed also visited the Anatomy museum of BSMU, where he met with Dmitry Yu. Rybalko, Associate Professor of the Anatomy department.

The decision to go to medical school is one of the biggest calls the student makes in his/her lifetime, and it may come with questions.
It is well known, that after completing MBBS students have to go through the competitive screening test to get their license to practice. To help students clear their exam in first attempt the Bashkir State Medical University in collaboration with Arise Medical Academy conducted the Winter Med School Program-2020 to give students extra time and guidance to train and guide students for their screening test.

The coaching given by Dr Azam Mohammed helped students in understanding the subjects well. He gave to the students not only academic guidance, but also guided them to know about career options and right goals as per their interests. Dr Azam Mohammed did his best to make learning fun and easy.

The Winter Med School Program-2020 has become a good experience for the students, that helped them to understand better about academics and challenges that follow after.
