BSMU hosted the 84th all-Russian Scientific Conference of Students and Young Scientists with international participation “Issues of Theoretical and Practical Medicine”

On April 24, 2018, the 84th all-Russian scientific conference of students and young scientists with international participation "Issues of Theoretical and Practical Medicine", organized by the Youth Scientific Society of BSMU, was held at the Bashkir State Medical University.

This year, 574 articles were submitted for participation in the Conference. In the Conference 456 participants performed in 19 sections, including 46 nonresident and foreign participants. To participate in the Conference, 11 delegations from Kazakhstan (Aktobe), Karaganda, Perm, Kuban, Krasnoyarsk, Kazan, Izhevsk, Chelyabinsk, Stavropol, Khanty-Mansiysk and Kirov arrived at BSMU. Eighty participants were awarded with diplomas of the winner.

The closing of the conference was held in the form of a plenary session. Wolf Wieland, Professor of Urology at the University of Regensburg, was the guest of honor. The Professor noted the high level of preparation for the event and wished further success. Professor Irina Rakhmatullina, Vice-rector for research, and Professor Vladimir Ishmetov, Vice-rector for educational and social work, awarded the winners of the sections with diplomas and valuable gifts, and wished everyone fruitful work and new discoveries.
