Bashkir State Medical University held the Open day

On January 25, 2020, Bashkir State Medical University held the Open Door day for applicants for Bachelor's, Specialty and Secondary professional education programs.

On that day, about 400 future applicants and their parents from Ufa and from different regions of the Republic of Bashkortostan became guests of the University.

The event was held on two platforms – in BSMU building №2, as well as in the conference hall of BSMU building №10.

Gulnara Chingizova, Executive Secretary of the Admission Committee, introduced the features of the admission campaign to the audience, making the presentation of the educational programs of Bachelor's degree, Specialty and Secondary professional education. Valishin Damir, Dean of the faculty of General Medicine, Sufiyarov Ildar, Dean of the faculty of Pediatrics, Kabirov Milyausha, Dean of the faculty of Dentistry, Kudashkina Natalya, Dean of the faculty of Pharmacy, Galimov Shamil, Dean of the faculty of Preventive Medicine with the Biology department, and Ilgiz Iskhakov, Director of the Medical College, presented the relative faculties at the meeting. They talked about the peculiarities of training at the faculties in the relevant specialties, the peculiarities of training a doctor and wished to make the right life choice for everyone and become real professionals in their field. Alexander Tsyglin, Vice-rector for Academic Affairs, spoke to prospective applicants and their parents, who stressed the importance of making a conscious choice of the medical profession.

Current students of the University also addressed the visitors. They shared their impressions about their studies, told what they do in their free time and in general about student life.

BSMU international students were interested in organizing the meeting and took an active part together with the University's volunteer students.

Future applicants asked many questions, received comprehensive answers to them, and showed great interest and desire to become doctors.
