Rector of BSMU took part in the celebration of the 33rd anniversary of Tajikistan's independence
In September, the Republic of Tajikistan celebrated the next anniversary of independence. The sovereign Tajik state is 33 years old.
On September 17, 2024, the Consul General of the Republic of Tajikistan in Ufa (RF) Rakhimov Temur Odinaevich organized an official reception and cultural exhibition, which were dedicated to the 33rd anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Rector of BSMU, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor Valentin Nikolaevich Pavlov took part in the official reception and said that 922 citizens of Tajikistan are currently studying at the University. The rector noted that in accordance with the university's development strategy, the university focuses not on the number, but on the quality of training for both foreign and Russian students.
The guests also discussed the growing role of Tajikistan in the international arena, as well as the prospects and development of mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Bashkortostan.
The university is in close contact with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan
Since 2016, BSMU teachers have been traveling to the Republic of Tajikistan for career guidance events (cooperation agreement with the Center for International Programs of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan). In 2018, similar events were held in the cities of Dushanbe, Khujand and Bokhtar. Since 2020, Open Days have been held in the format of remote interaction with schools in Dushambe and Khujand. In 2024, a distance biology Olympiad was held (for bachelors).
Students from among the citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan during their studies work in the positions of junior and middle medical staff - more than 160 people in hospitals, more than 45 in dental clinics (clinics). More than 100 residents go to practice in the regions of the republic annually.
Every year more than 40 people receive citizenship of the Russian Federation.
