BSMU presented scientific and educational potential at the International Exhibition in Dubai

Our University has long been cooperating with the UAE in a number of scientific and educational areas.

From April 30 to May 2, University staff presented the university at GETEX Spring 2025, an international exhibition of education and training in Dubai.

The university in the UAE was presented by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Veronika Izosimova, Dean for Work with Foreign Students Rasul Farshatov, Head of the Department for International Activities Ruslan Abdrakhimov.

During the visit, the BSMU delegation held a working meeting with the representative of Bashkortostan in the UAE, Roman Gromov, and options for developing cooperation between the two countries in the development of science and education were discussed.

Fruitful discussions with medical universities around the world have led to new collaborations and joint international projects: the possibility of creating offices of the BSMU of the Ministry of Health of Russia in the UAE and India is being considered.

It is planned to cooperate with the National University of Malaysia in terms of developing applied undergraduate programs (audiology, optometry, physiotherapy), exchange of teachers and students, opportunities to participate in olympiads in surgery and training specialists in minimally invasive and robotic technologies.

The possibility of joint activities is also being considered with the Medical University of Dubai: the exchange of students and teachers, the organization of events and symposia, as well as the use of virtual reality (VR) in the educational process.

With the Indian University DY Patil - the opportunity for internship by students of our university on the basis of Indian clinics, internships and advanced training.

The event was also attended by representatives of the American University in Dubai, the Asia-Pacific University of Innovation and Technology, the Association of Private Universities of Pakistan, Batterjee Medical College, BAU Batumi International University and others.
