The delegation of the Bashkir State Medical University took part in the 2nd Indo-Russian Educational Summit 2026 (Indo-Russian Education Summit 2026), held in New Delhi.
The event became an important platform for strengthening academic ties and presenting the unique opportunities of Russian medical education to an international audience.
The University team was headed by Acting Vice-Rector for Scientific and International Activities, Ph.D., Associate Professor Ruslan Ischemgulov and Dean for Work with Foreign Students Ildar Lutfarakhmanov.
At the stand of the Bashkir State Medical University within the framework of the exhibition of universities, great attention is paid to the high quality of training of specialists at the Bashkir State Medical University, the modern material and technical base of the university, a developed system of clinical practice and successful experience in training foreign citizens.
The summit participants showed keen interest in the opportunities for admission to the residency and graduate school of BSMU, as well as in continuing education programs and short-term educational modules in English.
Note that more than 2,400 students from India study medical science at BSMU.
