Bashkir State Medical University signed the agreement on cooperation with Peking University
As part of the visit to China the delegation of the Bashkir State Medical University signed the agreement on cooperation with Peking University on 9 July 2018.
"The first acquaintance with Peking University was three years ago, within the framework of the “Healthcare Week” between the SCO and BRICS member countries, - Professor Valentin N. Pavlov said. – Over three years of our active cooperation, we have come to sign the agreement on cooperation between our universities. The implementation of cooperation includes academic mobility, joint research, as well as training under the PhD program”.
The first visit of the Peking University delegation was in 2015, when the representatives of the Chinese University took part in the Healthcare Week of the SCO and BRICS countries. Just a month ago, Lemin Zheng, Director of the laboratory at the Institute of Cardiovascular Science, and Wei Li, Deputy Director of Vascular and Endovascular surgery at Peking University, presented their research at the Russian-Chinese Congress on the Treatment of Cardiovascular Diseases http://bashgmu.ru/en/news/14738/ .
Currently, the BSMU delegation is on the official visit to Peking University (China). The delegation consists of Valentin N. Pavlov, rector of the Bashkir State Medical University, corresponding member of RAS, Damir A. Valishin, Dean of the Faculty of General Medicine, Zufar Murtazin, head of the Medical Department, Marat A. Taipov, Vice-rector for Administration Affairs, Olga A. Efremova, Deputy chief physician of BSMU Clinic, and Naufal Sh. Zagidullin, head of the International Office.
Peking University (abbreviated as "Baida") is the largest University in China and one of the oldest universities in the country. It was founded in 1898. The University consists of 30 colleges and 12 faculties, including the medical one. The University ranks first in the number of students and faculty: currently 35 thousand students are studying in the University.
