The International Scientific and Practical Conference “Fundamental and Practical Issues of Immunology and Infectology” has finished

From 3 to 5 October according to the plan of scientific events at the Bashkir State Medical University hosted the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Fundamental and Practical Issues of Immunology and Infectology”.

The main organizer of the Conference was the Bashkir State Medical University. Co-organizers of the Conference were the National Scientific School of Infectious Diseases, the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy and Bukhara State Medical Institute. It should be reminded, that BSMU signed the cooperation agreement with these universities. The Conference and the publication of materials were carried out with the financial support of the Russian Foundation for basic research, project № 18-015-2002, the head of the grant was Professor Guzel Khasanova.

As part of the conference, the National School of Infectious Diseases was held with the participation of the best specialists of Russia in the field of infectious diseases from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, and Kazan.

Citizens from the USA, the United Arab Emirates, Poland, the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Tajikistan and Ukraine took part in the conference in person and in absentia.

A large number of participants came from the cities of Russia: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Volgograd, Simferopol, Saransk, Yekaterinburg, Obninsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan, Izhevsk, Ryazan, Perm, Bashkortostan.

More than 500 people took part in the Conference.

According to the directions of the Conference the contest of scientific - research works of students and young scientists was held on 5 October. The winners of the contest were students of the faculties of Pediatrics and General Medicine: Albert Shakirov , Aliya Khasanova, Victoria Pupykina, Margarita Boyko, Liana Gimranova, Raisa Khairullina, Dmitry Hoursan.

According to the results of the Conference, the collection of articles in 2 volumes was published.

On 5 October, Valentin N. Pavlov, the rector of the Bashkir State Medical University, corresponding member of RAS, met with the representatives of Abu Ali Ibn Sino Bukhara State Medical Institute and the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy. The participants of the meeting discussed the issues of further cooperation between the universities and the development of academic mobility. As the result the participants drew up to conduct joint research and organization of inter-University scientific events.

The conference became a platform for discussion of fundamental and practical issues of immunology, infectious diseases and exchange of experience with colleagues from other universities and research organizations in Russia and abroad.
