* Specialist – level of higher education
The specialist degree is an academic degree conferred by a college or university. The degree is formatted differently worldwide and may be either a five-year program or a doctoral level graduate program that occurs after a master's degree but before a doctoral degree.
Specialist degree in the Commonwealth of Independent States
The Diploma of Specialist (Russian: диплом специалиста • diplóm specialísta) is a five-year higher-education diploma that was the only first higher-education diploma in the former Soviet Union (the Candidate of Sciences was the first academic level degree while the Doctor of Sciences was the highest academic credential) and continues to be offered throughout the USSR successor states in parallel with the new bachelor's degree. In the early 1990s the bakalavr (bachelor) and magistr (master) were introduced in all countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States except Turkmenistan and Tajikistan. However, Diploma of Specialist (five years) is still conferred in Belarus, Russia and Tajikistan. The Diploma of Specialist was discontinued in the following countries: Kazakhstan (2004), Ukraine (2017), Georgia, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, and Moldova.

There are no restrictions on accepting payments from abroad. At the same time, it is necessary to use banks that do not fall under the influence of sanctions. Money from abroad can be obtained through companies that provide money transfer services, including crypto exchanges (electronic wallets). In addition, students can open a bank account that is not under sanctions and inform their parents about the details of this account. Parents are also advised to clarify in their bank the possibilities and conditions of transferring funds to Russia. When using crypto exchange services, we ask you to observe due diligence. Avoid the services of various intermediaries (especially students).
Funds received as a transfer from a bank outside the Russian Federation, as well as from electronic wallets, are issued exclusively in rubles.
