The Department of Cardiology and Functional Diagnostics conducts 3 cycles of advanced training: “Clinical Cardiology” 1.0 months, “Selected Issues of Cardiology for Therapists” 1.0 months, “Emergency Cardiology” 1.0 months. and 1 cycle of professional retraining: “Cardiology” 4 months. The department conducts a cycle of professional retraining in the direction of “Functional Diagnostics” and 4 cycles of advanced training in the areas of: “Functional Diagnostics”, “Clinical Echocardiography”, “Functional and Ultrasound Methods for Diagnosing Vascular Diseases”, “Clinical Neurophysiology”.

The department annually conducts training for residents. For their preparation in 2022, work programs have been created in the specialty “Functional Diagnostics” and “Cardiology” (see Educational portal).

Since 2019, graduates of residency and professional retraining (PP) in the specialties “Cardiology” and “Functional Diagnostics” have been accredited.

The department is fully provided with educational manuals and aids.

The department has 4 electrocardiographs. Ultrasound diagnostic equipment is provided by the clinical site. For the educational process at the department, 20 videos, more than 900 slides, 150 tables were created, there are sets of visual aids: ECG, echocardiography, Holter monitoring protocols for ECG, ABPM, TEES, VEM, blood biochemistry, educational videos, etc. were purchased.

New technologies are used in teaching: distance learning and telemedicine when holding conferences with the invitation of leading Russian cardiologists, which can be broadcast to 29 telemedicine centers of the Republic of Bashkortostan, usually 10 centers are connected simultaneously.
