Department of Topographic Anatomy and Operative Surgery

The Department of Topographic Anatomy and Operative Surgery is located on the street. Zaki. Validi , 47, building 5, being one of the buildings of the BSMU educational campus. The department carries out educational activities within the framework of training doctors in the specialties “General Medicine” and “Pediatrics”. Employees carry out scientific activities in accordance with the scientific topics of the department, approved in 2013. The latter forms the basis of the department’s scientific school. Teachers of the department carry out research, including within the framework of scientific and practical topics using technology, participate in clinical and anatomical conferences.

The main research areas of the department are:

1. Diseases of the colon and anococcygeal region;

2. Regenerative surgery (bioengineered gut).

The area of scientific interests of Professor I.I. Khidiyatov , associate professor R.F. Adieva is a sphinterologist .

Senior Lecturer N.R. Aria is leading the development and implementation of an original gastrostomy method .

Associate Professor I.M. Nasibullin conducts clinical and experimental work "as part of the implementation of the strategic project "Bioengineering".

In order to popularize and motivate students to study, special attention at the department is paid to holding student scientific circles, surgical Olympiads, and student participation in scientific conferences.

The work of the scientific circle is led by Professor I.I. Khidiyatov , the work of the circle of foreign students, senior teacher N.R. Aria.

Student scientific circles are held monthly. On average, 30-40 students attend the club every month. The student scientific circle of the department in 2014 took 2nd prize at BSMU. In 2017 – 1st place.

Under the guidance of department teachers, students carry out scientific research in various areas of medicine. Student scientific works are published in annual scientific collections, the results are reported at the conference of students and young scientists of BSMU.

The department annually holds Winter educational schools for students from among foreign citizens “ Surge” . Skills ", as well as master classes " Operative surgery " and " Endoscopic surgery ". Responsible - Professor I.I. Khidiyatov, associate professor I.M. Nasibullin, senior lecturer N.R. Aria.
