The goal of the department is to ensure the quality of education by using in the educational process the results of educational, methodological and research work, new knowledge and pedagogical technologies, expanding the research principle of teaching and attracting students to scientific research.

- drawing up a departmental work plan and submitting it to the educational department
control;
- consideration and approval of individual plans for educational, methodological, scientific and
the arc of the work of the department’s teachers and reports on their implementation;
- preparation and approval of reports on educational work (within the established time frame);
- study, generalization and dissemination of teachers’ work experience;
- providing methodological assistance to beginning teachers in mastering
pedagogical skill;
- conducting and discussing the results of mutual visits to training sessions;
- sending department employees to study at advanced training faculties (FPC), at advanced training institutes (IPK), organizing other forms of advanced training and internships at enterprises and organizations;
- participation in the development of a department-level quality management system (description of the processes of organizing and conducting educational and methodological work at the department, complete documentation of processes and regulations in accordance with GOST R ISO 9001 - 2008).
The main goal of the Department of Urology is to train 4th year students of the Faculty of Medicine, the Faculty of Pediatrics, the Medical and Preventive Faculty, and correspondence students in the basic methods of diagnosing and treating urological diseases, as well as improving the field of urology for interns, clinical residents, urologists of clinics and hospitals, conducting postgraduate training of doctors.
