BSMU students participated in the Winter School "SECHENOV.PRO»

From 31 January till 4 February the Winter Medical School of  I. M. Sechenov First MSMU "Sechenov.PRO" was held in the sanatorium "Zvenigorod", Sechenov University, for the finalists of the Olympics "I am a Professional". Ten students from the Medical and Dental faculties of BSMU, who became the finalists of the Olympics, attended the School, and associate Professor of Infectious Diseases Department with a course of APEI Liana Shaikhullina and Aigul Galiev were present there too.

The School acted as a platform where the best medical students of the country met with leading Russian scientists and representatives of partner companies of the project, they took part in discussion platforms and workshops, got acquainted with the practical aspects of the profession and the latest trends in the field of medicine.

Every School day had a variety of events. There were the meeting and open dialogues with the Director of Sechenov University, academician Peter Glybochko, Nobel prize winner in Chemistry Abraham Hershko, the first Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Education and Science, former chief sanitary doctor of Russia Gennady Onishchenko.

- Time passed very brightly, rich and informative in the Winter School. I am glad that due to my knowledge and participation in Olympics of various levels, I have the opportunity to attend events of such range and gain knowledge not only in the field of science, but also in the organization of healthcare - shared his impressions Ruslan Makhortov, an Olympics participant, a five-year student of the Faculty of General Medicine.
