II Student Olympiad on Pharmacy Management and Economics took place in BSMU

On 16 February, II University Student Olympiad on Pharmacy Management and Economics for students of the "Pharmacy" specialty took place at the lecture hall №2 in building №11. The 5th year students of the Faculty of Pharmacy took part in the Olympiad.

The jury of the Olympiad were the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Doctor of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Prof. V.A. Kataev, the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Candidate of Pharmaceutical Sciences, associate Professor F.H. Kildiyarov, the head of the Pharmacy Management and Economics Department with the course of Medical and Pharmaceutical Commodity Research, Doctor of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Prof. G.I. Ibragimova, and the staff of the Pharmacy Management and Economics Department with the course of MPT of the Faculty of Pharmacy.

During the Olympiad students had to pass the test in all sections of the discipline "Pharmacy Management and Economics ". At the second stage of the Olympiad the participants who successfully coped with the test were to solve a number of situational tasks as close as possible to the real pharmaceutical practice.

The participants of the Olympiad showed a high level of theoretical knowledge, and successfully demonstrated their application in solving situational problems.

On the results of the Olympiad the winners and awardees were defined. The third-degree diploma was awarded to the student of F-502B group, Akhsanova Gulshat, the second-degree diploma – the student of F-502A group, Drozdova Kseniya. The winner of the Olympiad and the first-degree diploma holder became the student of F-501A group, Nizamova Alfina. In addition, the winner and awardees received nice gifts.

In conclusion, the Chairman of the jury Prof. V. A. Kataev hearty thanked the participants of the Olympiad and pointed out that such events were very important both for the students’ preparing to the upcoming state final certification and accreditation of specialists, and for the further practical activities of University graduates.
