BSMU hosted the solemn opening of the Final Kickboxing Competitions in the standings XXVII Universiade in the Republic of Bashkortostan 2018

The head of the Students’ Physical Education and Training of the Olympic reserve of the Republic of Bashkortostan Department of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Rashit Karimov, the Chairman of the sport club  "Burevestnik", Maxim Stepanov, the head of the RB Kickboxing Federation, Konstantin Shestakov, the Chairman of BSMU sports club, Rail Abzalilov, and others attended the opening ceremony.

The competition started with a minute of silence in memory of those dead in the Kemerovo tragedy.

Having greeted the guests the preliminary fights started.

The competition takes place on 26-29 March in BSMU building №10. More than 100 athletes attend it from all the universities of the Republic.

Twenty-one students represent BSMU. The coaches of the Competition are Rinat Galiakberov and Alexander Tolkachev. We wish our national team success.

BSMU is chosen to host such a large-scale competition on the good reasons. Our University has created all conditions for the development of many kinds of sport, including kickboxing. The modern kickboxing hall with the latest training facilities was created with the support of the University administration.

BSMU kickboxers every year take prizes in Republican, All-Russian and international competitions.
