BSMU team "Brain Prosthesis" took the second place in the Intellectual Olympiad at the Volga Federal district

On 23 and 24 March, the final stage of the Intellectual Olympiad at Volga Federal district of was held in Saransk. National teams of regions competed in five categories: "What? Where? When?", "Management duels", "Parliamentary debates", "Programming" and "Robotics".

The final competitions gathered more than two hundred students from 14 regions of the Volga Federal district. One of the representatives of the Republic of Bashkortostan was the intellectual student team "Brain Prosthesis" from BSMU.

Team "Brain Prosthesis" competed in the category of "What? Where? When?" with 13 other teams of the regions. The teams included the most erudite representatives of young people. The professional expert Commission, which included scientists from the leading Russian universities, managers, businessmen, representatives of IT companies, evaluated their knowledge.

The game consisted of five rounds; each of them had 12 questions. However, according to the results of the second day prize — winning places were not defined that is why three teams fought for the second, third and fourth places additionally.
