Alexander Chuchalin, academician of the Russian Academy of Science, gave the lecture at BSMU

Alexander Grigorievich Chuchalin is academician of RAS, Chairman of the Russian Respiratory Society, head of the Internal Diseases department of Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University (RNRMU), Vice-President of the National Medical Chamber.

On 3 April Alexander G. Chuchalin met with doctors, teachers and students of BSMU.

- Starting a conversation about the latest trends in medicine of the 21st century, I want to note that modern medical education allows you to get the skills and competencies of the world standards level, including by the possibility of internships. Today, 18 of our graduate students are studying under the program of academic mobility in higher education institutions of China in the most promising areas: molecular biology, bionics, proteomics, - opened the meeting the rector of BSMU, corresponding member, Valentin N. Pavlov.

Alexander Chuchalin gave a lecture "Trends of clinical medicine in the 21st century". He dwelt in detail on the choice of the life course, the values of modern doctors and on the example of life and professional development of the doctor, Labe-medic of the family of Nicholas II, Holy of the Russian Church Eugeniy Botkin, spoke about the moral qualities that every doctor should possess.

- I am proud to have the title of Honorary Doctor of BSMU. Your University is one of the most promising and dynamically developing in the country. Despite all the features of the medicine of the 21st century, the development of next generation technologies, the modern physician must be compassionate, must love each patient, show compassionate, sincere and reverent attitude to each patient, - said in his speech, Alexander Chuchalin.

From 3 till 6 April VDNH hosts the third forum-exhibition "Week of healthcare in the Republic of Bashkortostan". On April 3, within the framework of the forum, the plenary session "Healthy generation is healthy region" took place, in which academician Alexander Chuchalin took part.
