The all-Russian event “Be healthy” has started all over the country

n the period from 3 till 8 April 2018 the all-Russian event “Be healthy” dated for the world health day will be held all over our country.

The all-Russian public movement «Volunteers-doctors», the Ministry of Healthcare of the Russian Federation and Federal State Budgetary Institution «National Medical Research Center of Preventive Medicine» of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Russian Federation organize the event.

The partners of the event are Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, Russian Center for Civic and Patriotic Education of Children and Youth, "Russian movement of students", the Association of volunteer centers.

"Health for all" is the theme of the action defined by the World Health Organization in 2018.

The main goals of the all-Russian campaign "Be healthy!" is the formation of the population's competent understanding of health, the mechanisms of its maintenance, as well as the development of the necessary skills and abilities to lead healthy lifestyle.

Medical volunteers will organize quizzes, preventive quests, interactive "energy spots", debates "Electronic cigarettes and vapes: harm or just smoke?", mass charges. The schools will hold thematic lessons on the basics of a healthy lifestyle. In social networks, everyone will be able to share "life-hacks" of healthy lifestyle, useful tips and stories of personal examples of conducting healthy way of life. Anyone can become a participant of the Event.

"Energy spots" will "charge" the idea of maintaining healthy lifestyle of all the participants of the event and help them to acquire basic skills for preserving their own health and the health of their beloved. Everyone will be able to take part in the surveys, thematic games and participate in flashmob-exercises.

Various regions of the Russian Federation will hold open classes on healthy lifestyles, the guests of which will be regional health managers.

The Campaign will launch the all-Russian competition of projects in the field of preventive medicine and healthy lifestyle of the all-Russian public movement "Volunteers-doctors", which aims to identify the best practices in the field of attracting volunteers to promote healthy lifestyle. The finalists will receive informational, expert and methodological support for the ongoing projects.

The all-Russian public movement "Volunteers-doctors" was born in 2013 from the project "Volunteers of Sklif" and now it is a key public resource center of volunteering in the health sector. The mission of the Movement is to provide broad assistance in the field of healthcare and the revival of traditions of charity. Seventy-one regional offices have been opened, and there are 13.5 thousand volunteers. The direction of the "Volunteer doctors" is the following: help for medical staff, hygiene education, vocational guidance of students in medicine, health care and mass sports events, promotion of the personnel of donation, and healthy lifestyle.
