BSMU students, winners of the Olympiad "I am a Professional", met with the Minister of Education of Bashkortostan

On 20 April, the Minister of Education of RB, Gulnaz Shafikova, met with participants of all-Russian contest "I am a Professional".

Among BSMU students there were the silver medalist of the Olympiad, student of the Faculty of Dentistry, Yumagulova Alfiya, winners of the Olympiad – students of the Faculty of General Medicine, Gromenko Regina, Kinzyagulova Elvira, Protsenko Veronika, Karimova Gulnaz, students of the Faculty of Dentistry - Arshinova Vladislav and Kadyrbaev Galim.

In her conversation with the students, the Minister of Education of the Republic of Bashkortostan noted that support and development of scientific and innovative potential of young people are more relevant than ever.

In turn, the students talked about their emotions during the Olympiad, noted the need to participate in such events, shared plans for the future. During the conversation, they discussed the possibility of holding such an Olympiad in our country.

The all-Russian Olympiad "I am a Professional" was held on 7 November 2017 on the basis of Yandex platform. 295 thousand students from all over the country, including 20 thousand in the direction of medicine, attended it.

The Olympiad was held in several stages: registration, qualifying and final full-time stage, as part of the Olympiad was held winter school "SECHENOV.PRO" on the basis of Sechenovskiy University, which was attended by 10 students from BSMU.

BSMU was one of five main Universities of the country to conduct face-to-face stage of the contest.

Eleven BSMU students became winners and prize – winners of the Olympic games, among them Alfiya Yumagulova – the silver prizewinner. The winners received the opportunity to enter the master's degree, residency or graduate school in the country, cash prizes, and have established themselves in front of employers.
