BSMU students participated in the National Olympiad on Foreign Languages

From 5 till 11 April 2018, the Republican Olympiad in foreign languages (English, French, German) among students of non-linguistic specialties was held in Bashkir State University. The Olympiad was held in the form of competition between students on the application of general and professional competences in the field of communication in foreign languages, as well as translation competence. More than 200 students, enrolled in educational programs of non-linguistic areas of higher education of the Republic of Bashkortostan, attended the Olympiad.

The first qualifying round of the Olympiad was held in the format of the Internet Olympiad on the website of BSU distance education. English assignments corresponded to the advanced level of foreign language proficiency (B2, C1), German and French - the average level B1. The second face-to-face tour was held on April 9-11 in BSU. The participants performed the tasks on listening comprehension and oral communication.

Bashkir State Medical University was represented by 47 students, 9 of them were in the second round.

2nd place-Elina Sadykova (P-306-A)

All the participants were awarded with certificates of participation, and the winners were awarded with diplomas and valuable prizes.
