16 May 2018, the round table on the topic “Actual problems of migration legislation for foreign students” was held

On 16 May 2018, Ufa State Petroleum Technical University hosted the round table on the topic "Actual problems of migration legislation for foreign students". Representatives of the Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Republic of Bashkortostan and the specialists from international departments and student activists of the leading Universities of the Republic of Bashkortostan, including Bashkir State Medical University, attended the meeting.

At the event, the issues of obtaining the citizenship of the Russian Federation for foreign students, temporary residence permit and residence permit, registration of invitations and visas, compliance with the rules of entry and migration registration by foreign students were discussed.

The participants paid the special attention to administrative and criminal liability for violation of the regime of foreign students’ residence in the Russian Federation.
